Cauliflower Pizza Crust
(Adapted From Sandy’s Kitchen) Ingredients Below:

Crust:
*  1 cup Grated Raw Cauliflower or 100 g (2 Greens)
*  1/4 cup Egg Beaters (1/8 Lean)
* 1/2 cup or 2 oz 2% Reduced Fat Three Cheese Mexican Blend (4/8 Lean)
*  1/8 tsp garlic powder – optional (1/2 Condiment)

.Toppings: .
*  1/4 cup + 2 tbsp or 1.5 oz 2% reduced fat Mozzarella cheese (3/8 Lean)
* 1/2 cup of very ripe diced tomatoes (drained). I used ONE Roma Tomatoe. If you can’t find ripe tomatoes, Sandy recommends Rotel tomatoes. Be sure it’s less than 5 g of carbs per serving (1 Green)
* 1/4 tsp minced basil - optional (1/4 Condiment) - applied the last 3 minutes of cooking time.

Directions: Grate your cauliflower before you turn on the oven.
I grated a whole head of cauliflower in my food processor and it filled up a large zip lock bag. This will be enough for four, five maybe even six more crusts. I could also use the grated cauliflower for Sandy’s cheese sticks or cauliflower bread. YUM..
..

Preheat oven to 425 degrees – Total cooking time 45 minutes. 1st cooking of crust is 30 minutes. After toppings go on, cook another 10-15 minutes.Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray.

Combine grated cauliflower,

egg beaters,

cheese, AND

garlic powder until mixed completely

Spoon mixture on prepared pan. Use the back of an offset spatula or a spoon to thin out mixture and form a circle about the size of a dinner plate without the rim. The thinner the crust the less chance of it being soggy. Bake for 30 minutes. Carefully flip the pizza crust over by using a spatula to lift all edges of the crust off the parchment first.

Bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes until edges are really brown and crisp. Mine are usually burnt around the edges but it won’t taste burnt. Let cool.

Add tomato sauce and cheese on top.Broil until cheese is melted about 5 to 10 minutes. If you are making several cauliflower pizza crusts like I usually do, you can wrap the pizza individually in foil tightly with the cheese and sauce already on top. Stick them in gallon size Ziploc bags. I usually can fit 2 or 3 pizza crusts in a Ziploc bag. When ready to eat, take it out of the freezer as you would a normal store bought frozen pizza. Bake for about 15 minutes at 425 degrees or until cheese has completely melted. I can usually get 4 to 5 pizzas from one head of cauliflower! Enjoy!

Note: Every oven is different. Mine runs a bit hot, so I cooked my pizza “crust” for less time than Sandy did. I had absolutely no difficulty flipping it over to cook the other side. I just used my spatula and flipped it. I only cooked it on the 2nd side for 5 minutes or so. Took it out of the oven, and assembled my toppings. I kept my toppings in the fridge until about 20 minutes before making the pizza. That way everything was done ahead of time and I simply assembled the pizza about 30 minutes before serving time. I think that cuts down on any chance of sogginess. Also note that I did not make “sauce” out of my tomatoes. I diced them and sprinkled them on top of the crust followed by the cheese. I put the basil on just a couple of minutes before they came out of the oven.

You could also (for eye appeal) sprinkle a few sliced tomatoes around the top, some uncooked basil leaves and if you like sprinkle a few mounds of morningstar burgers crumbled up. You can see Sandy’s pizza done this way here. According to Sandy it will not throw you off plan.
.
Re: Basil - I don’t like basil cooked “into” things. It can get slimy. That’s just my personal preference, but you can do it Sandy’s way.

*Sandy’s Note: 1 Complete Lean and Green Meal , 3/4 Condiment (Not even 1 Condiment!), with no Healthy Fat required. Sandy also writes that Medifast nutritionists have approved this meal. (yay) !HERE IS ANOTHER PIZZA Video

I will update this post the next time I make them which will be soon and tell you how long on each side. They are scrumptuous and my husband said "get them away from me or I'll eat them all".
Part III – How To Make The Chips

In preparation for this recipe, grind your flax seed and soak overnight or for 8 hours

Crunchy Tasty Good “mouth feel” ~ Very very satisfying alternative to popcorn or potato chips AND this is live food. WOW !

Equipment needed:
High power blender such as a Vitamix or Blendtec
Dehydrator: such as an Excalibur

Ingredients: The night (or 1 hour) before soak your seeds. Keep the water you’ve soaked them in.

1/2 cup chia seeds soaked in 5 cups water

2/3 cup flax seed (ground .. I use an old coffee grinder) soak overnight in 1 cup water

1/2 lime – juiced

2 large tomatoes rough chopped

1/2 cup chopped celery

10 cloves garlic – rough chopped (use as much, or as little garlic, as you like)

1 medium onion rough chopped

1/4 teaspoon sea salt (or whatever salt you like)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper (fresh ground if you have it)

1/2 tspn chipotle

1 teaspoon or more oregano (fresh or dried … I used dried)

1/4 cup minced basil

1/4 cup minced parsley (if you don’t have basil but have parsley, use what you have, and vice versa)

Water enough to make it thin (2-3 cups or more, added 1 cup at a time) Batter should be runny but not drippy.

Put all the ingredients into your mixer. Mix well. Start slow and bring it up slowly. Blend for 30 seconds or so. Stir in a few flax seeds just for decoration. Drop by tablespoonfuls on sheet (4 across). They will look high but they thin out as they dehydrate. Temperature 105.

After you turn them the first time, sprinkle sesame seeds (or whatever else you’d like) on them. YUM !

These chips turned out wonderful the very first time I made them. They take anywhere from 12-16 hours to fully dry. Do not turn them too soon. I will update this post the next time I make them which will be soon and tell you how long on each side. They are scrumptious and my husband said “get them away from me or I’ll eat them all”. The batch made a lot of chips. Next time I’ll tell you how many, but easily enough to feed a crowd or us for a few weeks. You could, of course change up the spices to suit your taste.

The original recipe is by David of Bristol and adapted by Angela.. They are wonderful. Thank you David.

The roasted whole kale leaves, dressed with olive oil and salt, are a beauty to behold, fun to eat, and taste like nothing you’ve had before.

KALE CHIPS – if you haven’t had them, you have to try them.. I know, I know, they may look disgusting and unappetizing to some. So much so that I almost didn’t make them because i thought “how could something that looks so unappetizing be good! But … if you make them properly they are scrumptious. You won’t want to share them. Read More at BonAppetit.com

Repost from Fairfield Green Food Guide: Lacinato Kale, a/k/a dinosaur or black kale, turns into “chips” when dressed with olive oil and salt and roasted in a low oven. A member of my CSA sent around a recipe for Tuscan kale chips that had run in Bon Appetit magazine and recommended making them for an unusual yet crispy and satifsying alternative to the usual sauteed or braised kale. I took a quick look at the recipe, and upon discovering that it was by Dan Barber, the chef at Blue Hill, I knew it had to be special. He’s all about fresh, local foods that are minimally manipulated yet incredibly delicious. And I had just been to a tour of Stone Barns and gotten a taste of his food at lunch. The lure was irresistible.

Tuscan Kale Chips – makes 24

The tall, crisped “chips” look striking when bunched in a tumbler, and they’re terrific with cocktails. Roasting the leaves coaxes out a nutty, briny flavor that’s kind of addictive

Ingredients
12 large Tuscan kale leaves
1 tablespoon olive oil

Preparation - Rinse, dry, cut lengthwise in half, center ribs and stems removed Preheat oven to 250°F. Toss kale with oil in large bowl. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange leaves in single layer on 2 large baking sheets so they roast evenly. Bake until crisp, about 30 minutes for flat leaves and up to 33 minutes for wrinkled leaves. Transfer leaves to rack to cool..

Technically, this is the easiest recipe to make, yet it yields an end product that belies its simplicity.

Tuscan Kale Chips waiting to be eaten.

The roasted whole kale leaves, dressed with olive oil and salt, are a beauty to behold, fun to eat, and taste like nothing you’ve had before. The work is in the prep – removing the leaves from them stem. Get your largest kitchen knife and sharpen or hone it before running it down each side of the center rib to remove the leaves. My only advice on the roasting is that the recipe calls for a 30 minute cooking time and I consistenly cook them for only 20 in a convection oven. So set your timer for 20 minutes and if they feel light and crispy and you can smell them, they’re done. The leaves will turn amber and taste bitter if overcooked.

After they cook, pick one up with your fingers, crunch off a piece and enjoy the burst of nutty, salty flavor. Serve them with dinner, snack on them, or pack them in a lunch box. I promise you’ll enjoy them and make them again and again. Maybe you’ll even grow some kale next year! It’s the crop that keeps on giving since you can harvest the leaves from the bottom up and continue to harvest as new leaves emerge from the top.

Interesting variations I haven’t tried yet include sprinkling the kale chips with Parmesan cheese as they finish cooking and dressing them with sesame oil and soy sauce for an Asian rendition. Here’s a link to the original recipe. Store at room temperature and I don’t recommend reheating; they’re too easy to ruin.

Lacinato Kale, planted square foot gardening style, with a bunny-proof wire cage. The one crop, other than lettuce, that did well in my backyard garden this summer was Lacinato kale, the very kind the recipe called for. Having lost my entire crop to the bunnies last year, I had my husband build a special wire cage to sit on top of the raised bed to keep them out! So I headed in the backyard, harvested some of my Tuscan Kale (aka dinosaur or black kale), and got to work.

Heat oven to 325°F. You’ll need eight 4-oz ramekins or custard cups and a roasting pan large enough to hold them.

In a medium saucepan, heat milk just until simmering. Remove from heat. In a medium bowl, whisk yolks to blend, then gradually whisk in hot milk. Whisk in lemon zest and juice, then butter until butter melts. In a small bowl, whisk sugar and flour until blended. Whisk into lemon mixture just until smooth.

In a medium bowl, beat egg whites with electric mixer until stiff peaks form when beaters are lifted. Gently whisk half the egg whites into the lemon mixture. Whisk in remaining whites until blended.

Ladle into ramekins. (If mixture in bowl starts to separate, gently stir, then proceed to ladle mixture into remaining ramekins.)

Place ramekins in roasting pan. Carefully add very hot tap water to pan to come about halfway up sides of ramekins.

Bake 25 minutes or until puddings are firm to the touch and very light golden. Remove from water to a rack to cool. Let cool 30 minutes before inverting, or cover cooled ramekins and refrigerate up to 2 days.

Run a knife along edges of ramekins, then invert puddings onto serving plates. Spoon any of the mixture clinging to the ramekins over top. Garnish with raspberries.Reprinted from Woman’s Day Eat Well

I actually did the Medifast program a couple of years ago and lost 15 pounds. It took me about 2 months to do that, and I did cheat quite a bit. I’m certain if I had stuck to the exact program, I most likely would have lost 10-12 pounds each month which would have put me at my goal weight in 3 SHORT months. I just HATED most of the Medifast food, and so I decided to research and see what was out there.

I found something online called Saturday Morning Diet a/k/a www.joanbars.com. I watched a few videos of a delightful woman “Joan” and her hubby Bill as they talk about the “Joan Bars,” Medifast and dieting in general. The picture to the left was snagged off the one of their videos on YouTube where you can watch as Joan is making her bars. “Adorable!”

So what is the Joan Bar? It’s a replacement for those expensive meal replacement bars you can get from Medifast. (Love that!) I used Joan’s recipe and you can see my (and her) completed bars below.

HOW TO GET THE RECIPE?

#1st way “Quick” – Enter you email in the subscribe area (upper right hand corner) and I will send you the password to this page which contains the recipe and other information. Out of respect to Joan and Bill, their recipe is password protected. I normally carry a mobile device so I most likely will receive your email very quickly (unless of course I’m sleeping). I am on Eastern Standard Time in NY.

#2nd way “Slower” - If you have time right now you can get the recipe from watching Joan’s video below. It’s under 10 minutes long and Joan mentions all of the ingredients. If you subscribe to Joan’s blog you can gain access to the recipe that way as well.

Below are the photos of my finished bars. They were soooo easy to make and YUMMY to eat.

Note: For my bars though I did not use cranberries, nor raisins. I used a new product which is a cross between a raisin and a plum. It’s called Plum Amazins by Sunsweet. Nutritional makeup was virtually the same.

Why bother with the banana and such a small amount of fruit.
Even using just 1/6th of a banana gives this drink a satisfying “mouth feel”.
The frozen berries (if you don’t have to use fresh ones) add a touch of sweetness and a lovely color
The ice is so refreshing as we move into warmer months or after a good workout.
The color is so lovely . . . a soft shade of pink.

Today I’m reading about Jesus attempts to get some much needed alone time with his disciples. They were enjoying some countryside scenery, rest and relaxation when suddenly THOUSANDS of people showed up in a place where they thought they would be alone.

Here’s an excerpt from Ann’s writing:

As I read those words, I thought “my goodness, and that was even before Twitter”. How did all those people find out?

So what do you think? No computers, no smartphones, no t.v., phones, etc. HOW did they get the word out. And Why did it spread so quickly and efficiently?

I was telling my husband recently that I wonder from time to time, if circumstances were different, if I had had the breaks, the confidence and the tenacity it takes to "make it" in showbiz, would I have been happy. Today I can say that I don't think I would have been. In fact I'm thankful that God did not allow me to go down that road. With rare exceptions (American Idol winners perhaps) it is a long hard road to make it to the top of the show biz industry. What looks like such a wonderful and glamorous life is in reality what Solomon called a "chasing after the wind". Vanity Vanity all is vanity Solomon declares. I think young performers should study the life of Whitney so that they can learn what NOT to do. A full time professional singer, especially a woman, has a couple of decades (maybe three) to be on her game. Some female vocalists can stretch it out longer than that, but time will eventually take its toll on their range, their stamina and their looks. Let's face it, most people don't want to look at an old neck. Men can get away with it, but not women (i.e. the Frank Sinatras of the world, etc.)

April 14th, 2012 – (CNN) – The police investigation of Whitney Houston’s death is “officially closed” with the conclusion that her death was an accidental drowning, the Beverly Hills Police Department said Wednesday. I mentioned I would follow up on my post (below) and so I am.

It is all just so sad isn’t it? The report from CNN includes this: Detectives found a “plethora of medications bottles” in the hotel room, although the coroner concluded the prescription drugs “did not contribute to the death.” Along with cocaine and Xanax, the toxicology tests found other drugs in her body, including marijuana, the muscle relaxant Flexeril and the allergy medicine Benadryl, the report said. Houston won six Grammys and sold 170 million albums, singles and videos over her career. In recent years, the singer’s accomplishments were overtaken by her struggles with drug addiction.

Who, but Whitney and ultimately God, can say what she was truly dealing with. This post is not about that. For these last few years, ever since I learned of Whitney’s battle with drugs, alcohol and “life” in general, I, like many, suspected that she had not defeated her demons. Who among us can say we’ve successfully maneuvered every area of our own lives?

I simply want to close out this post series with the comment that according to her own “profession of faith” … Whitney was a child of the living God, a follower of Jesus Christ (albeit flawed, like all of us) and it seems to me that, although this life was not “Heaven on earth” for her, she could be as sure of Heaven as if she was already there (John 5:24). And here’s why: The Holy Bible reads: That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Emphasis mine) Romans 10:9. God didn’t say that if you live life perfectly and do everything well “you will be saved”. He made the conditions for salvation very simple. So simple even a child could be sure of heaven. Some of us “live that Christian life” better than others and perhaps with more “outward fruit” than others. But that doesn’t mean there is no fruit. God alone will judge Whitney’s life, and mine.

It is my hope and prayer that all of us, especially the young ones following us, will look at Whitney’s life as a sort of cautionary tale. That we will understand the lure of wealth, the dark side of fame and consider whether Solomon’s words ring true, and then act accordingly.

Therefore, I believe the official cause of death was this: God simply “called her home”. He rescued her. She had had enough. Life/Fame and all of it was just too much for her.

Good-bye Whitney … we’ll see you on the other side.

What really happened at Calvary

February 18th, 2012~ Guard your heart for therein is the wellspring of life. Unfortunately for many people, the lure of riches and fame is a trap that few recognize until their hearts and lives have been held captive by it.

I LOVE the graphic you see below. I have spent not a few hours studying the life of Whitney Houston. What we really know about her, of course won’t be fully known until weeks, months, maybe years from now, but it seems clear to me that Whitney’s heart was caged. I believe she showed by her actions that the deep LOVE of her heart was not singing the world’s music. Rather it was singing to please the Lord who gave her an incredible gift. What began in Whitney’s young life as a seemingly wonderful place to invest her time and energies, ended up in the end, caging her heart, and her spirit and the only time she felt free was when she could run away. Running away took various forms and we all could see what forms her escapes embodied.

Scripture says that a if we pursue fantasies we lack wisdom. Was Whitney’s entire career one of “chasing foolish things” ? One could make the argument that the incredible income she earned helped many less fortunate people, even providing jobs where there were none. But … a person can not serve two masters. That they will love one but hate the other. And so, in the end, I think it was Whitney’s desire to uncage her heart, to set it free and she risked it all to accomplish that. There is so much more I could and want to say about Whitney’s life. How it could be used as a manual of what to do and what not to do … but for now I’ll share these thoughts from Kevin Costner and others at her funeral service.

Kevin Costner’s words at Whitney’s Home going, in my opinion touch on some of Whitney’s struggles, but it is her Heavenly Father (and perhaps some very very close to her) who fully knew the truth. The truth I believe, is that God simply called her home. I believe God said, daughter, “it’s enough … I’ve got you”.

Costner excerpts:
It’s a tree we can all hang from, the unexplainable burden that comes with fame … The Whitney I knew still wondered am I good enough, am I pretty enough, will they like me, it was the burden that made her great and the part that caused her to stumble in the end. Whitney if you could hear me now I would tell you … You weren’t just good enough you were great … people didn’t just like you Whitney, they loved you. What you did is the rarest of achievements. So to all those young girls dreaming that dream but thinking they aren’t not good enough, I think Whitney would say to them: Guard your bodies and guard the precious miracle of your own life and then sing your hearts out knowing that there’s a lady in heaven making God himself wonder how he created someone so perfect. So off you go Whitney, off you go … escorted by an army of angels to your heavenly father and when you sing before him don’t you worry, you’ll be good enough …

CLIVE: yes she confessed to Oprah about her searing battles, but when I needed her she was there…

Her bodyguard … she had to have that bible everywhere she went. She was a wonderful, beautiful caring lady. God gave us an angel.

The following is an excerpt from Nation Multimedia. Whitney: “I would close my eyes … and I’d sing. I was so afraid when I’d sing. Then when I would open my eyes, the people would be what we call Holy Ghost fired out. They would be in such a spirit of praise. I think I knew then that it was an infectious thing that God had given me. I’ve been through a world, a lifetime of stuff. I love to sing, but it’s just not fun anymore,” she said. “It was not about music anymore, it was all about money.”

Maybe that is the reason many talented artists such as Tracy Chapman chose to stay away from the mainstream commercial music industry after having gotten a taste of it. Maybe that is the reason Cesaria Evora of Cape Verde chose to sing without shoes throughout her life, so she would not lose her sense of reality..

FOR THE RECORD: Whitney’s worst voice surpassed most other’s best. As someone once wisely said: Her voice is “A Stradivarius among ordinary violins”.

Sunday 2.12.12 ~ Whitney Dead at 48 - Today we learned that Whitney Houston suddenly died and I immediately thought of a post I wrote almost two years ago. I thought then and I still feel today that the life that Whitney found herself living post fame was just too much for her.

I doubt Whitney would have ever thought that she would live her last days on the darker side of fame. But that is exactly what the light of day is showing as the sad state of affairs. A life so full of promise, so full of light during her tender years, snuffed out early. What took her from us. We’ll know soon enough.

Law enforcement sources told CBS News that while there were no illegal substances found in Houston’s hotel room, there were prescription drugs. Authorities said the most likely theories for Houston’s death are that she died of a heart attack or a prescription drug overdose. Media sources report that Whitney’s demise followed a week of erratic behavior.

Perhaps it was just Whitney’s “appointed time” to die or perhaps there were drugs involved. We won’t know for some time. The purpose of these posts are not to make up stories or tell half-truths about another’s life. These postings about Whitney serve only to remind us that life is fragile and to pay attention to warning signs in the lives of others (or perhaps even ourselves) before it is too late.

I’ll update this post again post toxicology reports.

Whitney Houston Remembering her great gift.

At this writing, 11:00 p.m. EST the world does not yet know how Whitney died, but we will know soon. For my part, I feel very sad this night that someone so gifted, and so blessed was taken from us so young. I’ll be writing more after we know the cause of Whitney’s death. I’m sure many will have much to say. For now though I pray God will comfort the heart of all those who knew and loved her. Her struggle is now over and perhaps she is standing right now in the presence of The Lord of all creation and praising Him with that amazing voice he gave her.

Read a portion of the conversation in September of 2009 between Oprah and Whitney. You can hear it beginning at the 9:22 spot in the video below of Oprah’s Interview Part I of 10 in September 2009. I remember thinking that even during that interview Whitney seemed to be under the influence of something. Her speech patterns, mannerisms, it just seemed something was terribly wrong.

_________________________________________
BELOW IS MY ORIGINAL POST FROM APRIL OF 2010

A few days ago, a friend brought Whitney’s song I Love You Lord to my attention.I gave it a listen and that led me to begin thinking a little more about Whitney. I remembered seeing her a while back on the Oprah Show. Whitney was telling Oprah and the world about the last decade of her life and her sad relationship with Bobby Brown.

After listening to I love the Lord, (from the 1996 Movie Preacher’s wife) I listened to a more recent clip from her current Australian Tour. I was reminded of the incredible talent and vocal ability Whitney used to have. Yes I said “used to have”. After listening to the recording done more than 10 years ago it is readily apparent that Whitney’s journey through time with Bobby Brown has not enhanced her life. Indeed it has hurt her tremendously. Give a listen to the two recordings of I love you Lord (in this post) to hear what I mean. The later version is sung in a noticeably lower key. It almost sounds Alto. At her best in years past, Houston was a high Soprano. Who would have ever thought a decade ago that anyone would walk out on a Whitney Houston concert, but that is exactly what happened in February in Australia.

Now please don’t think I’m picking on Whitney, in fact I feel troubled about the whole issue and it’s been on my mind the last couple of days. I love to sing. God of course did not give me a voice like Whitneys, but I know the thrill of feeling like your are fulfilling something especially placed in you by God. When I read the account of Whitney’s crowd angering concert in Australia I thought how cruel the world can be. As long as you’re hitting the high notes and “thrilling them” they love you. Audience’s can be merciless, and this audience is proof positive of that.

I was telling my husband recently that I wonder from time to time, if circumstances were different, if I had had the breaks, the confidence and the tenacity it takes to “make it” in showbiz, would I have been happy. Today I can say that I don’t think I would have been. In fact I’m thankful that God did not allow me to go down that road. With rare exceptions (American Idol winners perhaps) it is a long hard road to make it to the top of the show biz industry. What looks like such a wonderful and glamorous life is in reality what Solomon called a “chasing after the wind”. Let’s face it, most people don’t want to look at an old neck. Men can get away with it, but not women (i.e. the Frank Sinatras of the world, etc.)

…and so…Whitney threw away a decade of her life with Bobbie Brown and by her own admission sank into the life of alcohol and drugs. I guess she lived that life as long as she could and then one day woke up to the sad reality that she had spiralled down into a very dark place that God never intended her to be. So I began to wonder what will happen to Whitney now? Her tour is a mess, and in fact they are calling it a hot mess. She is 46, heavy, she’s lost that fantastic ability to hit those incredible high notes that made her famous and she has a long road back. Can she even come back at this age? I suppose only a very experienced vocal coach would have to answer that.

But one thing I do know for certain. Solomon was right. All is vanity. According to the Biography section (Wikipedia) on the article about Whitney, she started her singing (like many) in church. But, the world promised her (and delivered) fame, fortune, adoration. Certainly not everyone who reaches the pinnacle of stardom ends up this way, but I’d venture a guess that many many do. I wish somone would warn young, gifted and beautiful young girls about the trap set by the evil one to take our eyes off God and put them on self and things. But it seems these roads have to be walked by each one of us individually and we all must make our own mistakes and learn our own lessons. Rare is the young one who is given the gift of wisdom to discern the lies Satan tries to disguise as truth.

God promises peace, purpose and has a wonderful plan for each of our lives. Another thing I know for certain is that God will always love Whitney, no matter how well or how poorly she sings. How ironic that two of her monster hits are I love the Lord and Run to You.

I wish I could tell Whitney that God will always be sitting in that front row center seat waiting for his daughter to sing I love you Lord to Him. And so Whitney … my prayer tonight is that you will (as your song says) run to him (from the song I wanna run to you) … run to God your heavenly Father …. sing to and for him . . . take what you’ve learned and give the Lord the tattered ruins of your life so that he can weave them into a special garment of praise for Him.

Run to Him Whitney . . . run . . .
